CLOTH DISTRIBUTION PROJECT

As we know all about the Delhi winter this year is going to be much. Our NEELKANTH FOUNDATION distributed blankets, jackets etc, in Delhi streets and many areas of Delhi. At cold nights of Delhi winter volunteers of our NGO distributing blankets for people who are needed.

If we talk about FLOODS, EARTHQUAKE, DRAINAGE, CYCLONE etc  espically for millions flood-affected across India who are still recovering and many women who make do with just 1-2 another DISASTER for many.

Noticing NEELKANTH FOUNDATION ‘CLOTH DISTURABTION’ project going on in a nearby village, people of this small flood hit village approached Team NEELKANTH. They shared how their main village road was badly damaged with potholes and water logging due to recent floods and landslides and due to lack of a drainage structure.

As a result going to the nearby hospital, schools or college was proving especially difficult for the elderly, sick and children. When NEELKANTH’s local team mobilized and motivated the villagers, 16 people set out to repair the steep road. Working tirelessly, even in heavy rain, they filled the road gaps with soil and also created a new drainage channel along the road. Every person who participated in this work was rewarded with a carefully made  neelkanth Family Kit.
